Start with compatibility
Exact phone model, connector, required charging power, dimensions and any existing equipment determine whether an accessory is suitable. A listing that says only “universal” is not enough.
Electrical products deserve more scrutiny
Use a traceable seller, coherent specifications and the UK product-safety recall database. Stop using damaged or abnormally hot charging equipment.
Sources and date checked
