Build one device record
- invoice, receipt or order confirmation;
- bank or card payment record;
- seller name and contact details;
- model, serial and IMEI kept privately;
- listing and condition description;
- warranty and insurance documents;
- repair invoices and parts history;
- photographs of condition before sale or postage.

An original receipt is useful but is not always the only acceptable evidence. GOV.UK states that proof may include a sales receipt or other evidence such as a bank statement or packaging. The exact evidence required for a commercial warranty or insurance claim can be narrower, so check those documents separately.
